Every year and every wedding is so different, and in this time of social distancing and uncertainty it’s important to remember that the most important part of any wedding are the moments that happen there. People laughing, a couple in love, parents watching their kids with pride. It’s the real story of a wedding that shines through even more in the simple backyard affair. I loved getting to put my background and skills as a documentary photographer to work at this beautiful wedding. My hat is off to Dana and Andrew for their ability to see a way forward in this incredibly difficult time, for their charming and delightfully bright dispositions in the face of a lot of tough choices, and for choosing to love each other so well.
