Vail has so many amazing venues, views, it's close to home and serviced by a small group of incredible  local planners, including Kelly Karli and her team. I met Kelly, she brought Kim and Michael to me, a Dallas couple getting married in Vail no less, and the rest was history. I instantly loved Kim and Michaels vibe, their goals for the wedding their willingness to shoot in both Dallas and Vail for their pre-wedding portraits. It was an ideal fit that produced an ideal result. I'm so thankful to everyone involved in this one and beyond proud to show you a few of my favorite images from the weekend.

Kim and Michael came to me at nearly the perfect time in my life.. It's funny saying that because for my entire career I've been trying to find couples in love that I can capture in the perfect moments of their biggest days, but truly this one cuts both ways. When I moved from Texas to Colorado I didn't want to stop working in Texas, in fact it was originally just a temporary change in a covid summer that brought us there in the first place.  Once we decided it was a good move to pursue long term for our family I realized that while I'll always want to continue shooting in Texas, it made sense to also pursue weddings in Colorado and particularly in Vail.
