Over the years I’ve specialized and become known for indoor weddings just like this one. Church ceremonies followed by ballroom receptions. Honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s perfect for my skillset and because most photographers in the market claim to specialize in “natural light” (shooting outside, where it’s a lot easier) I’ve always found clients who are drawn to a clean aesthetic, and want their indoor images to be lit as well as their friend’s “outside wedding”. This gallery is a perfect example of how important being able to utilize flash really is. Each Venue, while beautiful, is only enhanced with the introduction of off-camera light. Alli and Alex’s Texas wedding was held at three great Dallas venues: getting-ready at the Crescent Hotel, Ceremony at Perkins Chapel at SMU, and the reception was held at the Belo Mansion.
